Outside Fun

Since little K is getting bigger and beginning to really get around on her feet, we have been exploring outside in our back yard.  Realizing this is a totally different environment that she now gets to explore, everything at reach and sight is new.  It is so much fun to see her walking around in the grass, or in our  dirt (we can't grow grass with all of the trees).  She also encountered the deck steps and thinks she can go up and down them without any trouble.  She is great at getting up them, but trying to teach her how to get down them is another thing all together.  How awesome it is to experience this newness with her and see those big smiles on her face. 

The weather has been so nice in the evenings, we decided to enjoy a little time on our deck.  There are not many nights we are able to do this, with trying to get dinner prepared, eat dinner, bathe little K and get her to bed.  Maybe we are on to a new routine to spend some time on the deck after dinner and before bath and bedtime.  It also seemed to wear her out.  Looking forward to more evening's on the deck with wine/ beer in hand.  Cheers to Fall!!
